In some cases, we need to substitute items for Dutch products. These subs cannot be coordinated upfront with you.
Normally we inform our clients if there is a substitution for products needed. In the case of Dutch products, it works a bit differently. Why? There can be two reasons:
1) The products we need to buy are not available anymore at that moment (due to weather issues, market situation etc).
2) The purchased products do not pass the USDA pre-inspection in Holland.
In both cases, we know this on the day of shipping. In that, our team will ONLY substitute a product that is in the same color pallet. If we cannot do this, we will cancel that product. In both cases, you will be informed by our customer service team.
Again, it does not happen all the times, but there are occasions that we need to substitute.
