Hold at Location (HAL)
FedEx Hold at Location (HAL) lets you have your order delivered to a nearby secure pickup location, such as a FedEx location, Walgreens, or select Dollar General, instead of receiving it at your home, studio, or shop.
You can request HAL directly through FedEx Delivery Manager®—there’s no need to contact our Support team.
Simply enter your tracking number on the FedEx website and select Manage Delivery → Hold at Location. You can also manage your delivery using the FedEx® Mobile app.
Request Hold at Location through FedEx
Available pickup locations depend on your delivery area and shipment eligibility.
If you prefer, our Support team can also submit the HAL request on your behalf. However, the fastest option is to submit the request yourself through the FedEx app or FedEx Delivery Manager®.
If you regularly use the same pickup location, we can also set up your account so future shipments are automatically sent to your preferred HAL location. Contact our Support team, and we’ll be happy to set this up for you.
Important: Wait until FedEx notifies you that your order is ready for pickup before going to the selected location.
